Goblin City Writers

The Goblin City is a very cosy and active community, with some of the coolest people I’ve met online! The dedicated channels and frequent events create a wonderful space for improving your writing and holding yourself accountable. No matter if you only just started toying with an idea or already deep in the trenches of query letters, the Goblin City has something for you!

This discord server is the only server I have stuck with after trying out others for a couple reasons: there are “guards” who make sure there is nothing toxic and everyone is respectful. You can do smaller groups if you’re not comfortable sharing all the details of your story server wide. There are people to encourage you but also keep you accountable by saying you have to do the work. It’s also a great space that has a great theme and cute goblin emojis!

I keep coming back to the Goblin City for the write-ins, the creative monthly events, the cute pet pics, and most importantly the lovely writer community filled with people who are always ready with words of encouragement or commiseration as the situation requires. Every writer deserves a place as supportive as this server!
